"Learn everything you can. Always remember, knowledge can be your best possession, your best asset, your best friend. Knowledge is better than money. Knowledge is power. Learn everything you can and you will go far."

In a tale of love and exploration that spans three major political regions and the length of the entire twentieth century, Invisible Threads weaves connectivity between several seemingly very different people. Several separate families are leading vastly different lives, but are connected in ways that they couldn't begin to comprehend. This rich narrative is told from multiple perspectives, with a unique emphasis on the voice of the matriarch of each family and their navigation of daily life in male-dominated societies. The story is full of excitement and surprising events that are a natural product of the characters simply living their lives the best way they know how, while trying to create a better life for their children.

With each generation contributing to this evolution, a trend much greater begins to take place that was out of everyone's control, created by the hands of destiny. This was set in motion long ago, creating a journey that would be guided by struggle, heartache, unwanted changes, and love. The culmination of which is manifested at a reflective bringing in the new millennium party at Tito and Pat's home in Soto Grande in 1999, and it provides answers to many burning questions.

Sacramento seamlessly interlaces an engaging tale of political, historical, and religious congruence. This cultural exploration provides a renewed belief in the importance of the family experience, while organically showing the need for tolerance and growth as individuals. Despite the fact there are multiple characters to develop, Sacramento is still able to hone in and create personalities that are easy to become attached to and empathize with. Sacramento was herself born in Gibraltar and traveled extensively throughout Spain and Morocco to research this incredibly woven story. She has already begun working on her next book.
