An Ayahuascan Search of My Truth

"Now, Izoek has brought his voice to this world to provoke the awakening of the masses without any distinction."

At age four, growing up in Peru, author Bobadilla had visions of “sparkling creatures” that would presage the many events that followed. In school, he initially proved unusually bright and helpful to his teachers, but a near-fatal accident changed him from an outgoing child to one with learning problems and loneliness. When the family moved to the United States, Bobadilla started college, feeling he had been given a new start. However, he continued to have paranormal experiences. Hearing of Ayahuasca, a healing method prevalent in his native land involving certain herbs, rituals, and the guidance of shamans, he began to study it in detail. It had connections to his academic field of psychology, but most importantly, it related to the astral world with which he had felt a communion since childhood.

After diligent searching, some setbacks, and a sustaining willingness to experience these ancient rituals, he learned of the retreat center, Etnika, in Cusco-Peru, where his Ayahuasca experience opened new, enlightened perspectives. He found himself conversing with Izoek, the creator of all things, who revealed many universal secrets and concepts to him. These otherworldly encounters took place over several meetings, their overall effect inspiring Bobadilla to write this mystical memoir.

Bobadilla’s blending of personal reflections and a universal overview absorbed in his Ayahuasca exploration can fascinate and enchant. He deftly describes how his experiences were sometimes disturbing, including a sense of panic that our world may be destroyed because of humanity’s inability to follow the course set by its creator. Thus, the book presents a thought-provoking alert and the enlivening implication that readers might wish to try Ayahuasca for themselves, an intriguing prospect that will doubtless attract many. Bobadilla’s fervidly stated convictions combine religious and self-exploratory guidance for all those willing to seek new pathways to truth.
