Anointed Warriors in the Army of God

"The believer’s strength and determination during times of hardship has a profound impact upon the world."

Building off his twenty years in the Marine Corps, Bell delivers a work that is essentially a guide for resolute Christians to have the tools to sift through much of the fodder being presented to them and understand their role in end-time events. With so much of the world in flux, be it political, economic, or otherwise, Bell approaches his warrior mission in the same manner as his marine service: unconditional devotion to saving souls through prayer and trust in their Savior.

Bell is clear in his assessment that the Army of God is being forged at this very moment and that the Lord himself raising up this army. It is a period of revelation but also one of unfiltered excitement as believers are on the cusp of perhaps the greatest battle with their spiritual enemy. Using the Book of Revelation as his primary resource, Bell shifts between an impassioned, call-to-action mindset and an analytical exploration of scripture that is broken down clearly enough for even the layman to understand. For instance, citing Revelation 22:7, where the Lord himself says, “I am coming soon,” Bell demonstrates how the prophetic events that are from over nineteen centuries ago need a modern understanding to truly reach twenty-first-century generations.

Ironically, it is Bell’s experience with war in the Marine Corps during Vietnam that led him away from the hollowness of the material world and into the eternal bliss of the Kingdom of God. Yet, seeing America on the verge of shambles, seemingly from the inside out, he probes deeper into distinctive changes, such as the deviation from prayer in schools to some schools going as far as teaching courses on LGBTQ. Similarly, the dichotomy between abortion and lustful immorality is presented in a way that is deeply thought-provoking. At its core, Bell suggests that though the “voice of demons” runs rampant, the rising of the Army of God should not be frayed by darkness, for it will rectify critical elements of society like a pacifist church and bring the promises of God to fruition.

As the work progresses into biblical stories and dives into the Antichrist, the False Prophet, and the Seven-year Covenant, Bell recounts numerous examples of warriors, from David and Moses to Joseph and Elijah, who were anointed for momentous events that came to be the bedrock of Christianity. Nevertheless, he points out how the threat of Satan is never-ending in this modern generation, and it is up to the Army of God to “endure and remain faithful.”

Whether it is unraveling the mysteries of ancient Babylon or providing warnings against worshiping the Beast, Bell provides his readership with an angle of discernment that adds another dimension to how believers perceive the tools hidden within scripture that prepare them for the trials and tribulations to come in the modern day. What’s more, as the work reaches a culmination point, Bell is quick to point out that while there is an undoubted battle between God and Satan, good and evil, there is another one incessantly brewing between God and the believer himself. Through the story of Job, scripture demonstrates that it is only when one has prevailed with God that the true battle can begin. Ultimately, Bell is steadfast in his belief that dark times make strong souls, and using a fusion of motivational language and clear-cut examples from scripture, he is trying to do exactly that for this generation of humanity.
