She demonstrates her superb writing skills by crafting enchanting stories that surface themes of friendship and community. Introducing new characters to the story provides the opportunity to enrich the overall setting, plot, and backstory. She weaves messages of kindness and responsibility through the narrative without being overbearing.

This book is also brilliantly illustrated by David Gnass, who brings this magical world into dazzling color. His specialty is portraying the characters with an abundance of personality, endearing them to the readers. Gnass’s unique artwork is a perfect complement to Adam’s expressive writing in what is truly an extraordinary children’s series. Each book is a new chapter in Carly’s escapades.
