This is a joyful children's fairytale about a mythical creature named Fiokla who lives in an Amanita mushroom. At the beginning of the story, Fiokla lives with her pet caterpillar, Varya. Inspired by the size of her home, Fiokla decides to open it up to guests of all types. After two little blue alien creatures referred to as "fu-fus" move in, Fiokla welcomes a hamster and a mouse into her circle.
Not long after filling her mushroom home with guests, Fiokla receives a mysterious letter in the mail. The letter tells Fiokla that on the night of the full moon, she will be granted three wishes. Not thinking of herself, Fiokla spends her first two wishes on her friends. The fu-fus are taken to a land filled with their species, and the hamster and mouse receive the opportunity to explore the world. Once alone, Fiokla and Varya decide to wish for a miracle. The story concludes with the wonderful surprise of Varya turning into a butterfly.
