The sequel to The City of Mystery, this beautiful story follows Michal the human girl, Petra the unicorn, Flyby the eaglet, and Zyon the little dragon as they embark on an adventure to fulfill a prophecy and save their city. However, through the intercession of Tuhan, they befriend a Tresdid spy who gives them information to help destroy the Tresdids’ weaponry. Despite multiple challenges and devastating losses to their city, the friends use their creativity, intelligence, and teamwork to outsmart the Tresdids and bring harmony back to their city.
This is a truly heartwarming and uplifting Christian children’s adventure story. The author magnificently provides each of the friends with a unique, quirky personality and their own personal struggles to overcome. She masterfully weaves in lessons about accepting and caring for all creatures, extending grace to one’s enemies, and seeking God’s guidance before making any decision. Although this is a sequel, enough information is provided about preceding events to make it a successful standalone novel. With profound life lessons and positive messaging, this story will touch the hearts and imaginations of readers at any stage of life.
