"Good memories don’t cost any money, and they last forever!"

In this children's book about farm animals in the barn's Farm Shop, Kirelle and her beloved best friend, Sam, who wears a beautiful gray and white kitty coat, go on an adventure of meeting new friends. Sam takes her to a barn where the animals sell various goods, including chocolate bars, crackers, movies, and other gift items. Kirelle looks for presents for Sam, her father, and her mother from the sheep, the cows, and the ducks who run the Farm Shop. She and Sam understand and speak the animals' languages. It's a very enjoyable trip, both because of the delightful animals and the presents. But what happens when she and Sam discover there isn't enough money to get everything she wants to buy? What does she get for herself? And what are the lessons she and Sam learn?

This story about politeness and kindness reveals the value of accepting others. The animals are shown to be important, and Sam is a special animal in his own right as pets are valuable family members in any household. Using puns, such as chocolate baas, cheese quackers, and Hollywood moo-vies, the book adds a bit of humor to the narrative. The lesson about doing the right thing and embracing this decision will help teach children about goodness. But what makes the story stand out are the exceptional illustrations by Ema Tepic, for they tell a story within the story with their fantastic detail. The pictures will also help children reading the book to point out all the events taking place within the store. In short, the combination of story and art makes this a delightful book.
