The Greatest Human Deception
by Sidiah Veronica Audifferen and Samuel Akinola Audifferen
Citi of Books

"All the predictions of the Lord Jesus are being witnessed by all, yet many are still under spiritual blindness."

In this Christian account, the authors assert that the greatest human deception is beyond humans and that education today is divided and neglects the role of God. The wrong type of education leads to the horrors of the world, such as World War II and racism, and to poor human choices, such as divorce, alcoholism, and drug abuse. Education must begin with God, the birth of Jesus Christ, and a civics orientation.

To address the nature of education and life’s purpose, the authors explore human beings by their biological systems and argue against evolution. They argue that evolution and negative behaviors such as anxiety are deceptions crafted by the devil. In their book, they explore the Bible, illness and sin, and technology in relation to their subject matter. Examples are also given of how God has worked in mysterious ways, supporting the idea that letting God in and taking on prayer leads to positive, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

Constructed like a manifesto, the authors’ book emphasizes the longstanding science vs. God debate. Personal examples, biblical references, and scientific research are used to lend support to the book’s argument. The personal stories and biblical anecdotes are the most appealing part of the work and add to the book’s intrigue. Likewise, in a world where chaos and sadness abound, a book like this will possibly be of great comfort to Christian believers. However, more specific points and examples fully supporting the book’s thesis would enhance the overall effectiveness of the text’s teaching. Overall, though, this book effectively encourages its audience to reflect upon education, science, and religion in a deep manner.
