Lucifer is a cherub prince and often holds counsel with the Supreme Spirit. However, when he is not given access to future plans, his indignation is coupled with his pride. In response, Lucifer decides to overthrow the Supreme Spirit and take his place. He convinces a third of the angels to join him, and his legion chooses to battle the heavens by making the earth hell for the humans for whom the Supreme Spirit seems to care. Lucifer plans to plunge humanity into wickedness and find a way to force the Supreme Spirit to break one of its covenants. However, a few righteous humans and a host of angels led by Michael and Destrael will strive to stop him. When the Supreme Spirit decides to be born in an earthly body named Immanuel, Lucifer sees a way to capitalize on his schemes.
