"Being twins means always having a partner."

Simone and Sebastian are fraternal twins, a sister and brother who have always been close in more than one way. They exemplify true “Twin Power,” relishing their special bond while also being able to flourish as their own individuals. The children keep each other company, have fun playing together, lend one another support in times of distress, and join forces to clean up after busy days filled with various entertainments. In other words, Simone and Sebastian are constant companions who explore their world side by side, and being twins encourages them to share whatever rewards or challenges might be waiting for them around the next bend in their lives. There are reading comprehension questions after the main story, followed by several coloring pages.

This story overflows with enthusiasm and is a delightful way to introduce children to the happy experience of twinhood. Its explanation of the differences between identical and fraternal twins is simple and easy to understand, and the idea of “Twin Power” can easily capture the imaginations of twins and empower them. However, the tale has a good deal to offer all siblings by pointing out the blessing of having supportive and reliable companions from a young age. Additionally, the full-color illustrations add a great deal to the story and help Simone and Sebastian to come alive in a way that will instantly draw readers even further into learning more about these happy twins. This book would make a wonderful bedtime story or even one to read aloud to a group of toddlers.
