"If you don't know Jesus as LORD, He cannot drive your bus."

This book asks readers to imagine themselves in a bus in which passengers represent their emotions and behaviors, both good and bad. "Everybody has a bus. Buses have seats—some more seats, some less, but all buses have seats. Some also have compartments where things are stored, where attitudes reside, where our story is kept." This simple statement is followed by a question, "Where is your story kept?" Readers are asked to draw a picture of the places in the provided space. As readers continue through the book, they are given increasingly thought-provoking questions and assignments, with the metaphor of the bus being used to illustrate lessons learned in life. The reader is introduced to the concepts of Christianity as the metaphorical bus continues its journey, and relevant questions are provided after each concept.

This unique and engaging study book can be used alone in personal or group studies. Written as a storybook for adults and older children, it is illustrated with the whimsical characters of Gerald Barlow. But the concepts presented in the work are weighty as they deal with one's Christian salvation. Groups will find much to discuss within this slim volume, as it is written to evoke serious discussion in a relaxed manner. Readers are given sections leading up to thoughtful questions. This interactive study is appropriate for both visual and kinesthetic learners as readers are given the opportunity to write and sometimes draw their answers. However, this book should not be considered trivial. It is filled with meaningful information and study questions intended to lead one to faith in Christ and ultimate salvation.
