When Robbie's grandfather dies, Kevin confesses that he is Robbie's older brother. But this is no ordinary brother. Kevin was actually the stillborn baby of Robbie's parents. Though Kevin is dead, he has been sent back to earth to protect Robbie and kill demons. His duty is to rid the world of as many demons as possible.
Demons, according to Kevin, are people who have given in to hate; their hatred and anger having turned them into demons on a quest to hurt humanity. Filled with vampires, werewolves, and succubi, this novel details Kevin and Robbie's fight against evil. Along with his sworn duty to kill demons, Kevin has to be very careful to not become tainted which would make him eventually morph into a demon, himself. He has forced his brother to swear to kill him if that he ever becomes tainted. Loyal Robbie loves his brother and is determined to help him save humanity.
Suspenseful and exciting, this novel is filled with battle scenes, and there is danger at every turn. Robbie is a very likable character. Loyal, kind, and forgiving, he is the perfect hero for a horror novel. Readers will find themselves rooting for Robbie and the people who help him along the way. Anyone looking for a thriller with an action-packed, unique plot will not be disappointed.
