Eddy Falls is a fast-paced story that takes you to the edge, then throws you off. The suspense, romance, and unlikely friendships make for a captivating tale that will have you wanting to go on more adventures with Eddy and Kale. Eddy Reeves is a lawyer with a past. He lost his prestige, his fiance, and a life of having whatever he wanted. He was thrown under the wheel in the seedy streets of New York without a place to call home. So he does what anyone would do. He survives. He takes on cases from the denizens of New York's underbelly, catering to the criminal class and doing it very well, when a man is murdered, Eddy is framed and his world comes crashing down again. His ex-fiance is his only hope. Sparks fly, and love is rekindled.
This novel steps into the dark alleys of New York and reveals the creatures that inhabit the cold dank places that most of us would not dare to venture. Eddy is a complex character that is fueled by his emotions and his past. He has hardened himself against being happy, and he lives and breathes his work, but when he comes face to face with Sally again, his heart begins anew. Through the craziness of this story, Eddy's love for Sally is a constant. He would do anything to keep her safe, even sacrifice himself. The mystery, suspense, drama, and steadfast love of two people torn apart by circumstances beyond their control will awaken you to the hard truths that exist in this world. But every hero seems to have a sidekick, and Eddy has Kale, who is sarcastic, snaky, and loyal. Their reluctant partnership and eventual friendship shines a ray of hope in the bleakness that surrounds this story.
Eddy Falls is an emotional rollercoaster blended with drive-by's, fist fights, and stolen moments. Once you start this story you will devour every page, yell at the characters, and hold your breath as the falls come crashing down. A suspenseful, must read story that will shock as it surprises you.
