From Feminist to Rapist
by Fetsum Abraham
Trafford Publishing

"I stood there in despair remembering Michael's warning; realizing that it was a little too late to change my earlier decision."

An immigrant from Eritrea, Abraham loves America and is an upstanding citizen with a good job as a patents officer. One fateful day, his love for America is shaken to the core when he is falsely accused of date rape by an acquaintance from Ethiopia. Abraham fights the accusations and helps his attorney build a defense, along with help from some loyal friends. Faced with dishonest police officers and the restrictions of the legal system, Abraham worries that he might be convicted of a crime he did not commit.

During this time, Abraham learns a great deal about the American justice system and what he perceives as its flaws. The biggest injustice, in his opinion is how feminism makes it very difficult for those accused of crimes against women. He finds the Rape Shield Law especially unjust as it forbids his lawyer from bringing up past crimes and indiscretions of his accuser. Abraham ultimately wins the case and is exonerated. Though he claims the ordeal made him a better and stronger man, he has found himself disillusioned by the American Justice System and feminism.

Extensively researched, this book is an interesting treatise against feminism. It points out the dangers of our corrupt system and what he calls "American-style feminism." His views are potentially controversial, but also quite interesting. Abraham presents a very thought-provoking case against what he calls the "fraudulent American court system and the dark face of feminism."
