A Look at Our World Today by Dell Watson Trafford Publishing

When sin overtook Dell Watson's life as a young, black man, ultimately he turned to God. With the evils of drugs, alcohol, and his womanizing ways behind him, Watson felt compelled to preach the gospel to other lost souls. Now with a fire and brimstone passion, Watson continues to bring his thoughts and beliefs to the forefront in He Is Coming Soon, a literary effort that urges readers to live their lives in accordance with the will of God, and not the ill will of man. Watson adamantly declares that in today's society, "wrong has become right, and right has become wrong." With his repeated referrals to this "sin sick world," the author also continues to emphasize mankind's extreme fall from grace. "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) is just one of the many Bible references that Watson chooses to quote with chapter and verse, in a purposeful attempt to address his concerns with modern day issues.
From poor parenting skills to out of control children, racism to police corruption, gay marriage to the precarious state of politics, Watson is unafraid to touch on hot button topics. While his staunch beliefs may be off-putting to some, particularly those of a younger, more open-minded generation, the author who has been preaching for over thirty-four years clearly writes from a core of truth and conviction. Undoubtedly there is an overall somber tone throughout the book, suggestive of man's downward spiral. Yet Watson boldly draws on his own spiritual connection and experiences for the sole purpose of helping others come to the elemental realization that "we all need God in our lives." Considering the current state of affairs in the world today, Watson clearly makes a good point.
