Intermediate Brain Stimulation by Psychoconduction by Chester Litvin Trafford Publishing
book review by Corinna Underwood
"Instead of numbers Litvin's code uses symbols to complete mathematical functions. For example, "X and 0" represent filled and empty positions in Litvin's mathematical configurations."
Russian born Chester Litvin, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist, marriage, and child counselor currently living and practicing in California. He developed his theory and practice of psychoconduction as a novel approach to non-invasive brain stimulation. According to Litvin, the purpose of psychoconduction is threefold; to help increase concentration, improve memory, and enhance decision-making processes. In his earlier work, Litvin explains that if your brain is under-stimulated, this may prevent it from processing complex information. Litvin has developed the psychoconductive method to resolve this problem. In this book he strives to do so by developing a new way of solving the simple mathematical functions of addition and subtraction.
The text is comprised of eleven mathematical exercises which replace numbers with a unique code which incorporates symbols, hand signs and sounds. Each exercise is clearly explained and accompanied by illustrations. The system is designed to work alongside auxiliary computer and display equipment. What this book is lacking is an introduction to explain the precise purpose of psychoconduction, how and why it works and who can benefit from it. This would be helpful for readers who are unfamiliar with Litvin's work and also facilitate a smooth transition for those who are familiar. For readers who use Litvin's psychoconduction, this is the nest stage in his innovative program.
