A Measure of Truth:
The Realistic Idealism, Philosophy, Based on Evidence
by Ralph Arthur Hall, M.D. Edited by Alden Bacuzmo Trafford Publishing

"It would benefit everyone to learn the ideas of those who have given measured consideration to a subject and are clear about the nature and organization of their thoughts."

The personal philosophies of Ralph Arthur Hall, conveyed through the editorial eyes of Alden Bacuzmo, are messages painted in broad strokes. Starting with the philosophical principles of Spinoza while explaining knowledge itself, the subsequent chapters expand on various topics, such as logic, ethics, truth, creation, evolution, and various others. Each is approached through the Judeo-Christian paradigm.

Part text book and part scripted lectures, A Measure of Truth meanders through every possible aspect of human awareness, consciousness, and understanding. It briefly pauses on all the discipline's major thinkers and subjects. Although referencing quotes and excerpts from historical, scientific, sociological, political, and religious texts alike, the entirety of the book is the expanded opinion of Dr. Hall. There is little room for anything dissenting because his arguments are long, continuous, and ultimately do not establish firm conclusions. However, a chapter toward the end of the book deviates from this style, "The Refuters Instruction Kit: Free," and focuses on teaching individuals how to purposefully cause rifts or arguments on-line whether or not the refuter actually understands the subject matter.

Deep-thinking paralleled with a composite view of contemporary society and told through the eyes of Dr. Hall, A Measure of Truth is a wax and wane of the measure of the author's personal truth. Readers will enjoy the ride, although one might want to derive his own conclusions on where he has arrived and where he is headed.
