Marcus Edge has had a hard and
dreadful start in life with many deaths surrounding him during his
kidnapping and torture five years ago by his wife and her family. In Morning Missed, the sequel to The Scorpion's Tale,
Coughlan has produced another winding story further building on the
previous life of the well-loved character, Marcus Edge. Continuing to
be a man of unbreakable integrity, Marcus is thrown into another
horrific situation which will test not only his will to live but also
his past and present relationships.
Marcus is now remarried to wife Gerda and they have two beautiful
children, twins Jack and Katherine. With everything falling apart
around him yet again, Marcus must protect not only himself, his family,
and close friends but also the successful business he inherited from
his father-in-law after his last ghastly ordeal. Who is behind these
heinous attacks on Marcus and his company? Is this his past coming back
to haunt him again or someone new in his life? After his past in-laws
trying to kill him, it is hard to tell about any relationship in
Marcus’ life.
Coughlan has created another suspenseful page-turner with so many
twists and turns the reader can never predict what is coming next; he
keeps surprises coming around every corner without warning. This is a
story that you cannot stop reading once you have started. Coughlan’s
continued tale of Marcus Edge brings his past and present together to
create a mastermind story of intrigue and terror as Marcus’ life again
spins out of control.
