My Diary with God: Simplicity and Common Sense
by Mary Catarineau
Yawn's Publishing

"God is stepping in now, through me, lest we perish. It is time to return to God. It is time to create heaven on Earth. This text points the Way."

My Diary with God, a wealth of wisdom, enlightenment, and simplicity, is a mostly optimistic compilation of journal entries written over a four year period on some key issues: Women as Equals; Jesus, God and Religion; Politics and the Status Quo; and Enlightenment and Reform. Offering specific advice and personal opinions, the author weighs in on teen pregnancy, abortion, Internet taxes, immigration reform, limited government, the dying Earth, the need to take better care of it, restoration of prayer, and the Bible in public schools, the fact that our country was "clearly founded on God, not the ACLU," and so much more. Final sections deal with Miracles of Healing, Messages to the World, a Twelve-step Program for Spiritual Healing and Well-being, and even some Vegan Dishes recipes.

Written as a conversation with God, and with herself, author Catarineau, self-described as a Lightworker, invites and cajoles readers to be tolerant, seek truth, focus on love and gratitude, and "reunite with the Source… and Her Name is Love, Her Name is God." In a somewhat random fashion, entries such as the "over-powerful Council on Foreign Relations' agenda of world domination" and on the corruption of wealth when it is not the power of God, offer a look at her view of the current world chaos and the way out of the darkness.

With serious intentions, the author challenges churches worldwide, governments, bureaucracies, and the "consciousness of humanity" to get involved, suggesting that the "End Times are here and unless there is significant change another Great Depression and even Armageddon are approaching." This deep, insightful book could be studied one entry or page at a time.
