"Remember when something is wrong, what do you do? Do right and fix it!"

Superdoright! is an informative motivational book that focuses on encouraging children to be superheroes by becoming environmentally conscious about their world. This quick read reminds kids can accomplish a lot when they proactively engage in simple tasks to turn a blue world into one that is green.

A mix of succinct exclamatory and imperative, graced with periodic interrogative, statements, Robbins balances problematic situations that promote global warming with uncomplicated conservation solutions. "Electricity is your first battle! Old bulbs must go, new bulbs must be replaced! Do right and fix it!" Superdoright, who is represented by a green bear, states problems, offers immediate solutions, and sends out a heartening commands for readers to actively get involved. While problems focus on issues of electricity, water, and recycling, Robbins rounds out her book by encouraging to give back to the Earth by planting a tree.

Although the goal of the book is to keep the world green and there is no explanation to what a blue world represents, Robbins presentation reflects an insightful follow-up initiative for children who have previously learned about the effects of global warming upon rising sea levels, which creates a blue world.

While simple stamp-like illustrations aptly describe each task, the book closes with a picture of a Superdoright T-shirt that children can don to remind them of their superhero status. There is no indication of how children can obtain this, which may generate some confusion.

Simple, straightforward and laced with encouragement, Robbins new book is a useful tool—both for school and home—that is directed toward children who are ready to take on the challenge of caring for the Earth.
