Life's road is rarely a smooth, straight path. Filled with humor, romance, and suspense, Lee's novel takes readers on an enjoyable ride through the life of a woman who discovers there is much more to living than simply pursuing her career. Undergirding the author's story is also a strong thread of Christianity as the lead characters often cry out to God in prayer and rely on him for protection and strength throughout the book. Fast-paced and filled with both likeable and loathsome characters, Lee's tale makes for a quick and inspiring read.
